Pretty peas

I love podding peas. It's so therapeutic. With the peas to your left, the colander in front, and a bag for the pods to the right, it doesn't take long to find a podding rhythm.

With this amazing weather we've been having recently, we're eating outside at every possible moment and the bbq is being put through its paces. I made lamb, pea and mint burgers on Saturday - trying to get the peas to stay put was somewhat comedy but the end result was great. And we had a very healthy broccoli, pea and tomato salad with a sharp vinaigrette on the side. Pea-tastic.

  1. It's definitely easier to eat healthy things in this weather and freshly podded peas are always delicious. I just hope the sunshine lasts - it's amazing.

    1. You're so right. The notion of eating anything hot at the moment is alien. I'm trying to be a little more adventurous in the land of salad - this week crayfish tails. Delicious with avocado and creme fraiche. I don't want this weather to ever end.
