Festival time

Once a year the yellow flags go up, the high street is closed, stalls are pitched and buses are diverted. The parade begins at 12 o'clock sharp at the top of the hill - brownies, sea scouts, Morris men, vintage cars, play groups and apparently guinea pigs descend. It's quaint and a little bit nuts, but we love every minute of it. The WI cake stall was doing a roaring trade, as was the Giggly Pig's hog roast (we buy their sausages every month at the Farmer's Market - they are quite simply the BEST sausages!).
