P is for...

...procrastination
Rather than spending every waking minute pouring over job websites today, I spent a delicious couple of hours baking a couple of cakes. One for a friend's birthday tomorrow and, because I am greedy and couldn't wait until tomorrow for a slice, one for me (see photo above). I obviously had to lick the spoon...and the bowl...and quite frankly am all sugared out and really can't face a slice of cake. Well, at least not until the kettle boils after dinner.

...pouring cream
Donna Hay has opened my eyes to what has to be the single most simple, but heavenly, cake icing that ever existed. Pouring/single cream and dark chocolate. That's it. Sigh.

...productivity
I've been meaning to post some shots of the Christmas presents that I made for friends and family, so here you go.

1. Recycled sweater cushion for Mr and Mrs R
2. Reversible moss stitch scarf with popper for my little sister
3. Recycled sweater corsage for my mum

...patience
I don't have any.

...pondering
What sort of job do I want?
What should I sew/knit/crochet first?
When should I put the jacket potatoes in the oven for Mr M's dinner tonight?

Have a great weekend. I will be eating chocolate cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hoorah.

p.s. The cake should probably have had a 'P' on it to match the post, but it's my cake so it's been tagged with a 'C' ; )
