Another weekend over. I can't quite believe just how quickly this year is flying by. Wouldn't it be lovely to apply the brakes for a while?
This weekend was a step in the right direction.
Leisurely lie-ins
A long overdue haircut
A good book finished
Fresh coffee brewed
Time spent getting to know Mr M's extended family
How did you spend yours?
p.s. Love these - how perfect would they be for Valentines?
p.p.s. And thank you for your kind wishes for Mr M - he's doing much better. Not quite 100%, but he's getting there. I'll try and post the mushroom soup recipe later on in the week
I agree, this year is rushing past me.I feel the constant need to stop and breathe. Fortunately we too had one of those lazy weekends. Definitely a must before a week that will bid farewell to January!
ReplyDeleteMmm...croissants....
Oh that croissant looks delicious! And I fell in love with the barrettes last night, too. Wonder if I can get organized enough to make one before Valentines?!

Relaxing. Making the most of not feeling like I HAVE to do anything. So much more enjoyable that way!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend - croissant action is always good! :) And I love getting a new haircut! Mine was hectic as it was my mum's 60th. Will be posting on that shortly but just haven't had much time so far...glad to hear Mr M is on the mend! xxx
