Day tripper

My sister and I will be popping over to Paris on Saturday for a spot of people watching. I've picked up the tickets, but still need to get some euros and book the very, very early taxi (the 6:55 train had seemed like such a good idea at the time of booking...). I'm looking forward to one or two macaroons from Laduree, being able to walk down the middle of the Champs Elysees and spending quality time with Miss L.

What would you do if you had just 10 hours in Paris?

  1. Oooh, what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday (although 6.55, ouch!). I've been wanting to return to Paris for so long. I would probably spend much of my time at the Deux Magot pretending to be a writer from the 1920s, sipping hot chocolate laced with whiskey. Then perhaps some wandering along the old street, admiring the pastries and the clothes. I'd probably try and fit in some art too, I can resist a good afternoon wander round a gallery.

Have an amazing trip, and please share photos so I can continue to be jealous!

  2. Go to one of the markets, buy some good wine, have lunch at a cafe outside, walk around some of the gardens and shop!

  3. Tea in Angelina's on the Rue de Rivoli. Or hot chocolate if your waistline can take the strain.
