Monday show + tell

When I was little, I used to love show and tell on a Monday morning. Empty bird and wasp nests, butterfly chrysalises, fragile skeleton leaves, WW2 memorabilia (mild panic of the teacher when everyone tried on the gas mask...) to name just a few. I find blogging can be a little like show and tell - whether it's talking about what we've been up to or things that we like - minus the table and sticky finger prints.

Here's mine.
Seed pompoms.
A pretty brooch from a charity shop. It's got a dash of Arts and Crafts about it, don't you think?
Mr M's final container of spuds. Absolutely delicious roasted.

My new love. Daily Milk Bubbly. The bubbles pop in your mouth. Yum.
I don't have any photos of the incredible rain that we had last night. It was a constant downpour. I do love the sound of rain pitter-pattering - it can be quite soothing, although not always conducive to sleep. The downside to the rain is the timing - the guys who fixed the front porch removed the ancient cast iron guttering and have yet to replace it. The rain was cascading outside our bedroom window. Splish, splash, splosh.

We woke to a slightly drippy morning but at least the sun has come out for a brief hello.

What would be on your show and tell table?

  2. It all looks so good (though I'm ignoring the chocolate, tight waistbands and all that). I've done a sort of show and tell over at Cupcake Towers.
