Nutella + filo + butter

We saw in the new year with Mr and Mrs R. We were on pudding duty. It didn't take long to work out what we were going to make. In fact, when we saw the Hairy Bikers make their chocolate and hazelnut filo rolls, the jar of Nutella went straight on the shopping list.

These are seriously the easiest little bits of loveliness you could make. The trickiest part was peeling the filo pastry off its wrapping. We ignored the requirement for rectangles and went for rounded triangles as the filo sheets we had were circles. Unsalted butter over salted. We also opted for a generous end of knife smear of Nutella instead of the tablespoon recommended in the recipe.
The added bonus is that we still have half a jar of Nutella left. Just perfect for a sneaky teaspoon of heaven every so often...
