My flower course at
The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers is finally here. Today we focused on conditioning flowers (that's snipping off rose thorns and removing foliage between you and me), making hand tied bouquets and button holes.
Five hours spent poking and snipping and wiring. I loved it. There's something incredibly calming about playing with flowers as classical music plays in the background. Tomorrow we're off to
New Covent Garden Flower Market at 8am. Early to bed for an early start. More tomorrow!
