Measuring up

The paperwork is still being drawn up, but we went to the cottage this weekend to measure up and take photos. I needed to see it again having only been there for 20 minutes for the first viewing. It was larger than I remembered - such a huge relief as I'd spent the last 4 weeks convincing myself that we were buying something not much bigger than our flat. The kitchen is proving to be a bit of a brain teaser - odd shape and oddly lacking in wall space. I think I need to build a mini version, a la Blue Peter, so that I can move bits and bobs around. 

Needless to say, I am in my element. Lots of ideas scribbled down and time spent on the websites of many a large diy store, working out costs and our plan of action. 

Number one on the list is to obviously get the keys...
