Ah, the raking season has indeed begun. I keep looking at the leaves and know I should do something about them. Somehow I haven't found the impetus yet. This weekend. Honest.
I might be more enthusiastic if I knew we'd find something as exciting as mushrooms.
I started looking for mushrooms in the forest few years ago with my husband. He knows a lot of them and I fins that so amusing... one never knows in which corner of the forest can find a mushroom! Nice photos. I enjoyed a lot.
These, and many others, were hiding under the fallen leaves on the lawn. We unearthed them as we started the official raking season this weekend.
Oh I always find it so exciting finding mushroooms in unexpected places!! Not that I would have any idea as to their identification though!

ReplyDeleteWe only have a patio and it needs a good sweep as the leaves are piling up. Not sure I fancy going out this morning to do it though. Rain = bleugh! x
