The Savoy

No. not the hotel but a particularly crisp savoy cabbage that we have been making our way through this past week. Mostly braised as a side, but tonight with smoked bacon, mushrooms, garlic and pasta. Tasty, but still not sure it completely worked. How do you eat yours?

  1. Will be interested to hear others' suggestions, as our Waitrose seems to have a plethora of cabbage at the moment... K x

  2. I try to avoid eating it. Too many bad memories of it boiled to death in school dinners.

  3. We've been doing a similar thing as we keep getting it in our veg box. I'm loving leeks with bacon and creme fraiche with pasta, although it's not doing my diet much good! x

  4. Jamie Oliver has a fabulous pasta recipe with buffalo mozzarella, savoy cabbage and roasted pine nuts. It is one of my all time favourites. Email me if you would like the recipe.
