As the rain cascaded from the gutter and puddled on the driveway, I made 26 metres of paper bunting, this pud (with velvety Bonne Maman blackcurrant jam) and a batch of fairy cakes for the party on Sunday. I also managed to accidentally shut Miss P in the forbidden bedroom for a couple of hours - she was in duvet heaven. I blame the glue fumes.

Il pleut des cordes
