Pasta drawer bake anyone? |
You know how I was cooking up the contents of the fridge? It all went wrong. I dropped dinner. As it was going in the oven. What a mess - juicy pasta bake upside down, running into the oven drawer below. Lots of swearing. And a typical girl urge of wanting to cry - having just spent an hour preparing the damn thing. And we were so hungry. It was tasting darn good too - bacon, cabbage, garlic, mushroom, fresh tomato, oregano, parsley, spring onion...And I've missed most of Hugh. Herumph.
Pizza has been ordered online and is due imminently. Gutted.
oh no, you have my sympathy!
ReplyDeletehope you enjoy the last little bit of Hugh - he's a cheeky one - faking his injury!
Cate, x
How disappointing on so many fronts - sending sympathy your way.
ReplyDeleteNoooooooo. I seriously would have cried. And there might even have been a wail and almost definitely a stomp.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for pizza though!
I would have thrown something :( sooo disappointing!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Was it just me who laughed.....it was the 'gutted' comment - honest!
ReplyDeleteOh no!!!!!!!! Hope the pizza tasted nice at least? :-)
ReplyDeleteoh no :( and that wheel shaped pasta is always so much fun. no really i love it! Anyway takeaway pizza must be the silver lining :)
ReplyDeleteI hate it when that happens...I hope the pizza was a consolation of some sorts....xxx
ReplyDeleteHate when that happens! Hope the takeout pizza made up for it though, usually find that that cheers me up!
