There was a break in the dreadful weather last week so we nipped to Wisley for a meander. On the way home, we popped into Garson's and found ourselves on the PYO route again. This time - blackcurrants and redcurrants. The former were made into a compote for a cheesecake - the jury is out on the blitzing raw v blitzing cooked. I think I prefer cooked. Raw was just a little too earthy for my liking. The redcurrants became a fool. More on that delicious pud tomorrow.
Miss P was utterly unimpressed by our offering for it was in the way of her lolloping area.
