Prom-diddly-prom-prom

As an interlude in the crazy, we were given some tickets to the Proms to see Prokofiev's Cinderella. We had brilliant seats overlooking the arena space and it was packed. It was rather odd to see people lying on the floor listening to the orchestra, but apparently that's normal.
What an eclectic crowd. There were regulars, picnics, couples, lycra-clad commuters and first dates. How romantic to queue up on a whim and listen to incredible music for less than £10. The music was wonderful, but with so much on our minds we weren't really paying attention and decided to slip out during the interval.

Thank you for your kind words on the last post. It's going to be a while before our upside-down world rights itself. What will be, will be. At the end of the day, there are far more important things in life than bricks and mortar.

And on the plus side, the flat is full of fresh flowers.
