The workings of wasps

Mr M has been busy beavering away in the loft laying down boards so that we can store things up there. In the eaves, the wasps have been busy too. Undisturbed for decades, they've created the most incredible structures. Sizes vary - from golf ball through to a pillow. They really are a magnificent sight - especially when you realise that each has been built from thousands of trips to and from your fence. We used to hear them gnawing when we were in the garden at the flat. A shame to destroy such incredible sculptures but needs must.

As an aside - posting is sporadic thanks to BT - our business broadband is playing up. Beyond frustrating.
