Nature's candles

It's my Grandpa's birthday today - he joined the nonagenarian society last year which means he gets lots of candles, so this moss is rather apt don't you agree? Tiny tree taper candles. We're off to Wiltshire on Saturday to see him and celebrate. I'm going by train - green rolling hills and lots of lambs. Then we're hooking up with our friends who are over from the US with their two little ones. We've not seen them since our wedding - can't wait to catch up. And it's another bank holiday - how marvellous is that?  I'm hoping to get some swims in and read some more of my new book - Baking Cakes in Kigali by Gaile Parkin.

Have a great weekend!
