Peering

If not sleeping or eating, Miss P is peering. She wiles away the hours with a concentration that is really quite astonishing. Whether it's the depths of the geraniums, the rooftop or the fence, no barking, bowl dinging or parakeet squawking will disrupt her focus. The shot above was taken as she stalked the geraniums for several hours. Her patience usually results in a mouse but fortunately on this occasion for both the stalked and gift receiver she wasn't in luck.
