Zing

Hasn't it been glorious recently? The garden is positively zinging. Mr M's agapanthus have gone from being a blah green display to suddenly shooting up four buds, the little geranium plug plants have just begun to flower, the squash is on it's way and the verbena is almost there. The thunderstorms have been equally spectacular - the snap dragons couldn't cope with the latest downpour, and one of the 7ft roses was almost a goner. We went on our first slug patrol the other night - goodness, there were a lot of those blighters - I stopped counting at 15. They're ravaging the dahlias and the coreopsis. The broom offshoots have been decimated. As grim as it is, do you go on slug patrol? Do you have a preferred method?
