Smooth

Raspberry smoothie from Super Duper Soups by Michael van Straten which looks an awful lot like a poster paint pot I once had. I used Mr M's blender/juicer thingummy for the first time (recently rediscovered at the back of a cupboard) and had lots of fun making a huge amount of mess in a bid to get rid of the pips.

It was delicious, if a little tart - we're going to try it with a dash of apple juice next time. I now have the smoothie bug - the blitz button is really quite hypnotic.

  1. Smoothies are so great...for kids too, I can squeeze in so many different fruits which they wouldn't be able to eat in on sitting....but smoothies just disapear kindly.
I need help...we're going to a cottage this weekend...there will be 10 families going...so 18 adults in total, and I am responsible for one dinner.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,

  3. Good grief! 18 adults!?! Are you mad? I'd go for a big vat of chilli, with rice (or jacket potatoes), sour cream and green beans. Or bangers and mash. Easy pud would be Eton mess...hope there's a big oven!!! Have fun!

  4. Thanks for the kind words left on our blog regarding my Mural...I know...crazy, 18 adults. I was thinking today...stuffed chicken breasts and sausages-roast veggie couscous and rocket salad?
    What do you think?

  8. Goodness - now that you are handing out domestic advice you might have to rename your blog.

(I read those details and my mind says "mmmm...takeaway")
