Miss G and I went to the community sports day at our local park yesterday. It was great fun. Egg and spoon race, sack race, three-legged race and the obligatory tug of war. A rather keen mosquito the night before had put me out of action, so I was in charge of the camera and cheering. It was a very British affair - picnic blankets, live music, children running around, beer tent, dogs snuffling about for abandoned sausage rolls and the will it/won't it rain question. All very jolly.
